Karl Kramer Photography was started by Mark Power in late 2006 following his retirement as a company director in mid-2005, turning a 30 year hobby into a new business venture. Mark works freelance and having spent over 25 years in traditional photography, he made the switch to digital about six years ago and now concentrates solely on this medium, using only Canon professional bodies and lenses. Having spent all his working career in computer-related industries, the switchover seemed a natural progression and the digital "darkroom" is a familiar workplace for Mark, who uses a range of software and DTP packages in producing high quality, professional prints, albums and canvasses.

Based in Bolton, Lancashire Mark is now an international award-winning image maker and a circuit judge for amateur camera clubs in the North West.

Mark is currently the President of the Bolton Digital Photographic Society.
